These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Floodrest website and to services provided by Floodrest in Victoria.

1. Who we are

Floodrest is a flood and water damage restoration service operating in Victoria, Australia, generally within 100km of Melbourne. References to “we”, “us” and “our” are to Floodrest / Local Carpet Cleaning Pty Ltd t/a Floodrest (ABN 15 682 871 192).

2. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging us for restoration services, you agree to these Terms.

3. Emergency / urgent services

Attendance times are estimates and depend on traffic, access and current workload.

4. Access to property

You agree to provide safe access for our staff, vehicles and equipment. If access is unsafe, we may refuse or delay service.

5. Scope of work

On arrival we assess and recommend work such as water extraction, drying equipment and monitoring. Some items may be unsalvageable.

6. Equipment on site

Drying equipment may need to run for several days. Please don’t turn it off without speaking to us.

7. Photos, moisture readings and reports

We may take photos and readings to document work and assist with insurance.

8. Payment & insurance

Unless agreed otherwise, you are responsible for paying our invoice. If your insurer delays or declines, you must still pay us.

9. Cancellations / call-outs

We may charge a call-out or minimum fee if you cancel after we have dispatched.

10. No guarantee of full restoration

We will use reasonable care and industry methods but cannot guarantee every material can be fully restored.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant services.

Information on this website is general in nature and may change without notice.

13. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page.
